On April 25, IBK Industrial Bank announced that, in collaboration with the Korea Mecenat Association, it is recruiting members for the 'IBK TOGETHER 2025' orchestra project for small and medium-sized enterprise employees and small business owners.
'IBK TOGETHER 2025' is a social contribution project that supports orchestra education and ensemble activities, aiming to expand opportunities for workers to participate in cultural and artistic activities and to help them experience a sense of achievement and pride.
IBK Industrial Bank will select a total of about 30 orchestra members from among office workers, self-employed individuals, and freelancers in the following categories: strings (violin, viola, cello), woodwinds (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon), brass (trumpet, trombone, horn), and percussion. Preference will be given to small and medium-sized enterprise employees and small business owners during the selection process. IBK Industrial Bank will fully cover all participation and activity fees.
The selected orchestra members will participate in lessons and ensemble rehearsals with professional instructors for about six months starting from June, and will perform on stage with renowned artists at a year-end concert. The orchestra for the year-end concert will be conducted by Baek Yunhak, known as the "dancing conductor," who gained attention with over 1.2 million YouTube views.
Applicants wishing to participate in this project should submit a video of themselves playing their instrument, along with an application form, on the Korea Mecenat Association website by May 14.
