First 20 Participants... Program Runs Until June 19
Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province announced on April 25 that it is recruiting participants for the second phase of the customized "Health Management Program" for menopause until the 9th of next month.
The city is operating the "Beautiful 4060 Menopause Health Class," a health program designed to prevent and improve menopausal symptoms for local residents in their 40s to 60s at the public health center.

The second phase of the program will be held for the first 20 people who register, from May 12 to June 19, every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at the public health center's education room and other venues.
The main content consists of physical activity programs, including energy circulation exercises and health exercises. In addition, healing programs such as horticultural therapy, aromatherapy, and tea culture experiences are included to help participants respond healthily to menopausal changes by promoting emotional stability.
Furthermore, before and after the program, participants will undergo a self-diagnosis for menopause and a basic health check-up to measure the degree of change. The city plans to promote substantial health improvement through customized guidance based on these results.
A city official stated, "Although 60 to 80 percent of middle-aged women experience menopausal symptoms, many tend to neglect them. We hope this health class will be an opportunity to care for both emotional stability and physical health, and we look forward to the participation of many people."
