Snoopy in Eastar Air Uniform... Character Marketing Underway

Collaboration with "Peanuts,"
Holder of 15 Global Characters

On April 25, Eastar Air announced that it will conduct character marketing in collaboration with the global intellectual property (IP) brand "Peanuts."

Peanuts is an American comic strip that depicts the daily lives of 15 characters, centered around Snoopy and Charlie Brown, and enjoys great popularity worldwide. Eastar Air plans to collaborate with Peanuts, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, to deliver the joy of travel to customers in a variety of ways.


To begin with, major characters such as Snoopy dressed in Eastar Air uniforms will appear at domestic airport counters, in-flight, and on the official website, among other areas. Next month, a special event will also be held onboard. Limited-edition merchandise featuring Eastar Air’s brand identity (BI) will be released sequentially starting in July.


In addition, starting today, Eastar Air will participate in the "Peanuts 75th Anniversary Pop-up Event" at Shinsegae Department Store’s Gangnam, Centum City, and Daegu locations. The event is scheduled to run until a date in June. Further details can be found on the Eastar Air website and official Instagram, as well as other social networking services (SNS).


An Eastar Air representative stated, "By utilizing the beloved Peanuts characters, we aim to become more familiar to customers both in Korea and abroad," and added, "We will strive to provide passengers with enjoyable experiences by sharing the timeless humor and touching stories of Snoopy."
