Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on the 24th that it had operated a customized comprehensive consultation service, the 'One-stop Mobile Welfare Counseling Center,' for rental housing residents on the 23rd.

This counseling center was established to address the limitations of welfare services that are difficult for residents to access directly, and to provide practical counseling and support for complex issues experienced in various areas of daily life, including finance, legal matters, and employment.

The center offered support such as employment assistance, financial services, and daily legal information, helping residents achieve economic independence and stable living. Counseling sessions were held at two public rental housing locations, divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with participation from over 100 residents.

The main areas of counseling included: in the financial services sector, customized loan counseling, microloans, dormant account inquiries, and payment applications; in employment support services, various psychological, employment, and career counseling, vocational training, start-up support, and work experience program counseling; and in legal services, legal counseling on civil and family litigation documents. Customized individual counseling was provided to residents who applied in advance.

The operation of the counseling center on this day was joined by Gwangju Employment Welfare Plus Center, North Gwangju People’s Finance Integrated Support Center, and the Gwangju-Jeolla branch of the Credit Counseling & Recovery Service, which contributed to a higher level of resident satisfaction.

President Kim Seungnam stated, "Through the operation of this mobile welfare counseling center, we will actively work to resolve residents' practical concerns," and added, "We will continue to do our best to provide integrated, field-oriented welfare services in the future."

Meanwhile, Gwangju Urban Corporation plans to continue post-management and linked support even after the operation of the mobile welfare counseling center. In particular, the corporation will strengthen employment and job counseling, which saw high demand on site, to actively support residents' economic independence and stable participation in economic activities.
