Insung Information’s HiCareNet Signs Contracts with Five Medical Institutions near Silicon Valley, Expanding into Mainstream U.S. Market

On April 24, HiCareNet, a digital healthcare specialist and subsidiary of Insung Information, announced that it has expanded its business into Northern California in the United States and has consecutively signed contracts with five non-Korean medical institutions.

HiCareNet has been developing its business in the United States by collaborating with 40 local medical institutions, primarily in Southern California. Through these new contracts, the company is accelerating its entry into the U.S. healthcare market and rapidly expanding its presence within the country.

The contracts involve the provision of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) services, marking a significant step in introducing HiCareNet’s digital healthcare technology to mainstream medical institutions in the United States. All contracted hospitals are non-Korean medical institutions located near Silicon Valley, serving primarily high-income local American patients. This serves as a symbolic example of HiCareNet’s technology and operational capabilities being trusted even in the local U.S. market.

HiCareNet’s AI-based integrated platform collects and analyzes patients’ biometric data in real time, enabling early detection of abnormal signs and allowing medical staff to intervene quickly for personalized health management. Through this, patients can receive continuous healthcare services, while medical institutions can establish proactive patient management systems based on actual patient data, thereby achieving both patient-centered medical services and qualitative improvement.

HiCareNet’s solution is optimized for Value-Based Care, a core trend in the transformation of the U.S. healthcare system. It offers various advantages, including predictive patient management, outcome-based compensation systems, prevention of patient attrition, and reduction of medical costs, and also contributes to the improvement of quality indicators for medical institutions.

In terms of security and regulatory compliance, HiCareNet has completed external validation in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 certification and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards, thereby meeting the highest level of security requirements demanded by U.S. medical institutions.

Based on its long-accumulated healthcare technology and IT infrastructure, HiCareNet continues to expand its digital healthcare and RPM/CCM business. The company goes beyond simply providing solutions by directly operating practical services for actual patients, establishing itself as a unique company that offers both integrated platforms and services. In addition, leveraging its robust medical network and operational expertise built locally in the United States, HiCareNet is further expanding its influence within the North American market.

Kim Hongjin, CEO of HiCareNet, stated, "The number of contracts with U.S. medical institutions is gaining significant momentum, and the number of patients under actual management is also rapidly increasing, indicating a very positive local response." He added, "Although there are approximately 68 million potential RPM beneficiaries under Medicare in the United States, the actual number of users is still only about 600,000 due to the market being in its early stages. Since more than 98% of the total market remains untapped, HiCareNet will quickly expand its presence and secure market leadership."
