The pocketbook will also be made available on the Gyeonggi Province website (www.gg.go.kr) and the Gyeonggi Province Self-Reliance Support Agency website (www.ggjarip.or.kr).
Kwon Munju, Director of Child Care at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "We created the Self-Reliance Support Pocketbook to make it easy and quick for self-reliance preparation youth to find the various support programs they need." He added, "This year, we have especially included a range of support information for children aged 15 or older who are scheduled to exit protection, so that they can proactively prepare for self-reliance even before leaving protection."
Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Province has assigned 62 dedicated staff members to the Gyeonggi Province Self-Reliance Support Agency to provide various self-reliance support services for self-reliance preparation youth who are starting to live independently. These services include individualized case management, employment and self-reliance competency enhancement projects, provision of independent housing and experiential spaces, and the Mentor-Mentee Together Project.
