Imsil County to Supply Electric Two-Wheeled Vehicles to Reduce Fine Dust

Until the Budget Runs Out...
Supply Limited to 10 Units

Imsil County in North Jeolla Province announced on April 23, 2025, that it will implement a private supply project for electric two-wheeled vehicles in 2025 to reduce fine dust.

The supply volume for the first half of this year is set at a total of 10 units, but this number may change depending on supply conditions and within the limits of the budget.

The eligible vehicles are newly purchased and registered electric two-wheeled vehicles. The subsidy amount varies by model and size, ranging from 1.4 million to 3 million won per vehicle.

Applicants must be residents who have continuously maintained their address in the county for at least three months (90 days) prior to the date of application submission and must be eligible to obtain a motor-driven cycle or Class 2 small motorcycle license. Corporations and businesses with offices located in the county for the same period are also eligible.

Applications for the electric two-wheeled vehicle private supply project will be accepted until the budget is exhausted. Recipients will be selected in the order of vehicle delivery and registration. If the vehicle is not delivered within two months after the recipient is granted eligibility, the selection will be canceled.

Residents who receive the subsidy must comply with an obligatory operation period of eight years. Failure to do so may result in the recovery of the subsidy, depending on the length of operation, so caution is advised.

Those wishing to purchase an electric vehicle should visit an automobile dealership to sign a purchase contract, then submit the purchase support application through the dealership to the Zero-Emission Vehicle Integrated Website. Detailed information can be found on the county office website (Notices and Announcements) and the Zero-Emission Vehicle Integrated Website.
