This consultation event was attended by 393 companies from 45 countries worldwide (133 overseas buyers and 260 domestic export companies) to expand exports of agri-food and agricultural industry products. A total of 1,975 one-on-one export consultations amounting to $232 million were conducted, resulting in 71 on-site contracts and memorandums of understanding (MOUs) worth approximately $23 million.

In the agri-food sector, 64 on-site contracts and MOUs were signed for products such as dumplings, tteokbokki, kimchi, strawberries, Makgeolli, and konjac jelly, totaling $22 million. In the agricultural industry sector, 7 on-site contracts and MOUs were signed for products such as organic and compound fertilizers, totaling $1 million. This represents an increase of about 15% compared to last year's $20 million.

In addition to one-on-one export consultations, the event featured a main product exhibition hall for participating companies, export integration organizations (covering 10 items such as strawberries and oriental melons), online export consultations, a healing industry section, and a Halal certification promotion hall. Notably, on the final day of the event, April 18, a Korean traditional food culture tour program was held for buyers, including activities such as making dried persimmon clusters and tasting traditional liquors.

Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Song Mireyong stated, "The export consultation meeting is a valuable stepping stone for our export companies to broaden their horizons into the global market through market diversification," and added, "Although the export environment is challenging, we will spare no effort in providing extensive support, including raw material purchase funds, export voucher support, and the establishment of cold chain infrastructure, to achieve this year's export target of $14 billion."
