On the 23rd, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly cloudy, with raindrops of less than 0.1mm expected until dawn.

According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving from near Shanghai, China to the southern seas of Jeju Island on this day.

Morning low temperatures are expected to be 13 degrees Celsius in Boseong and Goheung; 14 degrees in Jangheung and Suncheon; 15 degrees in Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Gwangyang, Hwasun, Mokpo, Yeongam, Jindo, Gangjin, and Wando; 16 degrees in Naju, Jangseong, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Shinan, and Haenam; and 17 degrees in Gwangju.

Daytime high temperatures are forecast to reach 20 degrees Celsius in Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Hampyeong, Muan, Yeongam, Gangjin, Hwasun, Wando, Gokseong, and Gurye; 19 degrees in Damyang, Shinan, Naju, Mokpo, Haenam, Jindo, Jangheung, Boseong, Suncheon, and Goheung; and 18 degrees in Gwangyang.

Wave heights will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea and from 1 to 2.5 meters in the coastal waters of the South Sea. Fine and ultrafine dust levels will be "good" in the morning and "moderate" from the afternoon.

An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "In areas where rain is falling, visibility will be low and some roads may be slippery. Please ensure a sufficient safe distance when driving, reduce speed, and pay attention to traffic and pedestrian safety."
