Floral Lettering Created Along Hwangryong River in Jangseong

Agricultural Groups Celebrate "Year of Visiting Jangseong" with Planting Event
Over 60,000 Plants Used to Create "Flower Lettering" Along Hwangryong River
"Gil-dongmu Flower Road Festival" Scheduled for Next Month

Agricultural organizations in Jangseong County, Jeonnam, created floral lettering along the Hwangryong River. This was done to wish for the success of the "Year of Visiting Jangseong."


According to Jangseong County on April 22, about 200 members from four organizations?including the Rural Leaders Association, the Home Improvement Association, the 4-H Federation, and the Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Association?planted over 60,000 marigold and daisy plants across 17 sections from the 2nd Hwangryong Bridge to the Munhwa Bridge along the Hwangryong River on the previous day.

Floral Lettering Created Along Hwangryong River in Jangseong Members of agricultural organizations in Jangseong County, Jeonnam, are conducting a "Flower Lettering" activity, planting flowers in the shape of letters to commemorate the "Year of Visiting Jangseong" along the Hwangryong River area on the 21st. This event featured "Flower Lettering," where flowers were planted in the shape of letters rather than in simple arrangements. Once the flowers are in full bloom, phrases such as "Year of Visiting Jangseong" and "Growing Jangseong" will be visible.


County Governor Kim Hanjong also visited the site and participated in the planting. Governor Kim stated, "The participation of agricultural organizations will contribute to the landscaping of Hwangryong River and the success of the Year of Visiting Jangseong."


Meanwhile, Jangseong County is currently operating tourism programs such as tourist taxis, a stamp tour, and busking events. In addition, the "Hwangryong River Flower Road Festival" is scheduled to be held from May 10 to 11.
