Over 40 Participants Including Chairman Lee Sanghoon
Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (KICOX) announced on the 22nd that it had carried out volunteer activities to support recovery efforts in Hawha-ri, Danchon-myeon, Uiseong County, North Gyeongsang Province, an area affected by the wildfire.

KICOX held its board meeting, originally scheduled to take place at its Daegu headquarters, instead at the Uiseong County Cultural Center. Over 40 executives and employees, including Chairman Lee Sanghoon, Kim Hocheol, Director of Regional Economic Policy at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Directors Hong Chunsik, Cho Hongcheol, Park Junho, and Labor Director Lee Jeongmun, participated in the recovery activities.
KICOX employees dismantled greenhouses damaged by the wildfire and sorted debris caused by the fire. They also delivered 2 million won to Uiseong County to support recovery efforts. On April 9, the employees donated 30 million won to Daegu Community Chest of Korea.
Chairman Lee stated, "This event was organized to offer even a small measure of support to local residents facing difficulties due to the wildfire," adding, "We will continue to seek ongoing support measures that can provide practical assistance to the affected area, along with our recovery activities."
