Promotional Events Held at Seoul Station, Sejong Government Complex, and Daegu Station on the 21st and 22nd
Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province held a guerrilla promotional event for the "2026 Year of Yangsan Visit," touring Seoul, Sejong, and Daegu on April 21 and 22.

The guerrilla promotion team, consisting of Na Dongyeon, Mayor of Yangsan, Han Jeongwoo, Special Policy Advisor, and staff from the Tourism Division, focused on introducing the "2026 Year of Yangsan Visit" to citizens at Seoul Station Square on the first day, April 21. The team also highlighted events that will allow people to experience next year's Year of Yangsan Visit in advance, such as the inaugural "Yangsan Egg Festival" and "Tongdosa UNESCO World Heritage Media Art."
The promotion team not only distributed promotional materials for the Year of Yangsan Visit but also held a variety of events, including a Yangsan tourism quiz and a no-lose roulette game.
In particular, the guerrilla event with the mayor of Yangsan received an enthusiastic response from family tourists at Seoul Station, and Yangsan's tourism mascot "Ppuyong" attracted considerable attention from children and women.

That afternoon, the team visited the Sejong Government Complex in Sejong City, where they promoted the "2026 Year of Yangsan Visit" to central government officials together with the mascot "Ppuyong." On the morning of the following day, April 22, they continued their promotional activities for the Year of Yangsan Visit at Dongdaegu Station, targeting local citizens.
Mayor Na Dongyeon stated, "I hope that the Year of Yangsan Visit we are preparing for next year will further enhance the Yangsan City brand," adding, "We will continue to promote the Year of Yangsan Visit through road campaigns in major cities going forward."
