Pohang City, POSCO PH Solution, and Save the Children Collaborate
Residential Environment Improvement Project for Vulnerable Families
Support for Wallpapering, Flooring, and Facility Repairs Provided
Pohang City has partnered with POSCO PH Solution and Save the Children (Eastern Regional Director Jang Sungjun) to launch a residential environment improvement project for entrusted families with vulnerable children in the region.
This project will provide support to three families with a total budget of 24.5 million won, allocating approximately 8 million won per household for wallpapering, flooring replacement, and repairs of aging facilities.
Prior to the start of the project, a fund transfer ceremony was held on the 18th in the External Cooperation Office at Pohang City Hall.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from Pohang City, POSCO PH Solution, and Save the Children, who discussed the purpose of the project, explained the beneficiary families, and shared future plans for implementation.
Ko Chanju, CEO of POSCO PH Solution, stated, "We will continue to engage in various activities with the community to fulfill our corporate social responsibility."
Jang Sangkil, Deputy Mayor of Pohang City, said, "I hope this project will provide practical help to families in need," adding, "We will continue to work on improving local welfare through public-private cooperation."
Save the Children is carrying out various support projects for children from vulnerable backgrounds and plans to contribute to creating a safer and warmer living environment through this residential improvement initiative.
