To Survive in an Era of Limitless Competition... Song Jaesung's Distinctive Leadership at Shinhan Bank Legal Town Branch Draws Attention Jae Sung Song Branch Manager

We are living in an era of limitless competition.

As artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly replaces human tasks, competition among people is becoming even more intense.

Against this backdrop, Song Jaesung, the branch manager (age 53) responsible for overseeing the Shinhan Bank Legal Town branch in Seocho-dong, is drawing attention for his distinctive approach.

After graduating from Seoul National University with a degree in business administration, Song joined Shinhan Bank. He served as deputy branch manager at the Seoul City Hall Center and later as branch manager at the Seoul National University branch before being assigned to his current post in January of this year.

Song is particularly being praised for his flexible leadership, as he uses his own office as a space for his staff to conduct business activities.

Song explained, "My daily routine is to come to work in the morning, handle administrative tasks and approvals, then head out for business activities. As a result, my office is used as a space for the staff."

Because of this, the space is not a rigid office but is equipped with items that allow customers to enjoy tea together. When necessary, he even meets with clients after business hours to share a glass of wine and have conversations, which has drawn attention.

Song, a graduate of Seoul National University, is known to have a significant advantage in serving the legal district. Notably, he contributed to social causes by donating 210 million won to Seoul National University over two years?2023 and 2024?and received a plaque of appreciation from Seoul National University President Yoo Honglim. Last month, he was also appointed as a member of the Social Contribution Committee by the Seoul National University Alumni Association.

Yoo Jusun, head of the Shinhan Bank Seocho Regional Headquarters, praised Song, saying, "Branch manager Song demonstrates the ideal qualities of a branch manager, with a flexible mindset and a strong commitment to fieldwork."
