On April 19, Lee Junseok, the presidential candidate of the Reform Party, stated, "While we must inherit the spirit and legacy of democratization, including the April 19 Revolution, we must also boldly break away from the outdated culture that has accumulated throughout our society with overwhelming innovation."

On the 65th anniversary of the April 19 Revolution, Lee wrote on his Facebook page, "It is now time for the April 19 Generation, the '87 Generation, and the future generations following the democratization generation to take up the baton."

He said, "On April 19, 1960, young people took the lead as countless citizens poured into the streets to fight against unjust dictatorship, changing the course of Korean history." "The cries of the future generation on that day, vowing to reclaim freedom and democracy, became the echo that restored democracy and put an end to injustice, establishing justice in Korea."

He continued, "Sixty-five years later, today, the future generation is once again raising its voice for justice and the restoration of democracy." He argued, "The entrenched interests, through actions such as pension reform, are once again provoking the younger generation by seeking to exploit them, reigniting their anger."

Lee emphasized, "Just as the future generation poured into the streets on April 19, sixty-five years ago, the future generation of April 19, 2025, now feels disillusionment with the established political culture and a thirst for generational change."

He appealed, "Once again, it is time for the future generation to take the lead. The outdated culture that refused to change festered and ultimately exploded in the form of the anachronistic imposition of martial law. Now is the time for the younger generation to become the main force in politics, the economy, and culture."

Lee declared, "I, Lee Junseok, together with the Reform Party, will lead the bold revolution of the future generation.
