Im Taehee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, emphasized that schools must be at the center of all educational initiatives in Gyeonggi Province.

On the 18th, during the '2025 Major Tasks In-depth Discussion Meeting' held to promote the implementation of Gyeonggi education policies at the field level, Superintendent Im stated, "Since schools are at the core of all Gyeonggi education policies, the Provincial Office of Education and the local education support offices must fulfill their duty to support schools so that schools can autonomously collaborate and focus on student education."

This discussion meeting was organized following the '2025 Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Major Tasks Briefing' to gather feedback from the field by educational sector and to engage in in-depth discussions to ensure that Gyeonggi education policies are effectively integrated into practice.

The educational sectors refer to learning environments in Gyeonggi education where all students can nurture their dreams through learning and growth, with a focus on: ▲ basic character and foundational competency, ▲ education in cooperation with the local community, and ▲ AI-based personalized remote learning.

The main topics discussed at the meeting included support for school education centered on educational activities, the operation of Gyeonggi Shared Schools and Neulbom Schools, the direction for operating the Gyeonggi Korean Language School, plans to expand Gyeonggi Online School, and the establishment of a digital platform centered on AI data.
