Five Key Areas: Employment, Housing, Education, Welfare, and More
Gwangju City announced on the 18th that it has produced the '2025 Gwangju Youth Policy Guide' and distributed it to youth centers and related organizations, enabling local youth to easily access a wide range of youth support policy information at a glance.
The booklet contains a total of 111 youth support policies across five areas: employment, housing support, education and capacity building, welfare and culture, and participation and rights.
To provide practical assistance to youth visiting organizations related to youth policy, the city has organized information such as details of each policy, eligibility requirements, and contact information in an easy-to-understand format. In addition, the guide includes youth-related statistics and a Gwangju youth map to provide an overview of the current status of youth policies. The 'Youth Policy Guide' is also available online through the 'Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform' website, allowing all citizens to freely browse and download it.
Since 2021, the city has published an annual guide that comprehensively organizes youth policies. This year, the guide has been made more effective by adopting a more intuitive structure and incorporating the latest information.
Kwon Yoonsook, Director of the Youth Policy Division, said, "We hope that the 2025 Gwangju Youth Policy Guide will help young people easily find and utilize the policies they need," adding, "We will continue to systematically provide a variety of policy information to enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of these policies."
