Emro Reports 41% Year-on-Year Increase in First-Quarter Sales

First-Ever First-Quarter Sales Surpass 20 Billion KRW
Global Supply Chain Restructuring Driven by the U.S. Spurs Demand for Direct Procurement Solutions

Emro, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based supply chain management software company, achieved its highest-ever first-quarter sales despite increasing domestic and global economic uncertainties.

On April 18, Emro announced that its consolidated financial statements showed sales of 20.6 billion KRW in the first quarter, marking a 41% increase compared to the same period last year. For the first time since its founding, the company’s first-quarter sales surpassed 20 billion KRW. Amid accelerating global supply chain restructuring following the high-tariff policy announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump, there has been increased demand for direct procurement solutions, which are essential for enhancing cost competitiveness and securing excellent partners. In the first quarter, Emro recorded an operating profit of 960 million KRW and a net profit of 1.04 billion KRW.

Customer demand for the implementation of procurement systems and expansion to overseas subsidiaries remained steady. License sales in the first quarter of this year reached 1.94 billion KRW, a 49.6% increase year-on-year. Thanks to Emro’s unrivaled procurement expertise and the strong lock-in effect of its supply chain management software, recurring technology fees from existing clients amounted to 3.52 billion KRW, up 27.9% from the same period last year.

Emro plans to further strengthen its overseas competitiveness this year. The outlook for its overseas business, centered on the SRM SaaS solution "Caidentia," is positive. After securing its first local client in the United States last year, Emro is now actively proposing solution adoption to leading companies in IT, automotive, and manufacturing sectors in the North American market, in partnership with Samsung SDS. Through demo presentations and solution verification, Emro continues to demonstrate its procurement expertise and AI capabilities, earning positive reviews from local corporate procurement managers. As a result, additional contracts are expected to be signed within the year.

Next month, Emro will participate in the "Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo," the world’s largest supply chain management event held in the United States and Europe, to introduce Caidentia.

An Emro representative stated, "The global supply chain disruptions triggered by the U.S.-initiated tariff war are expected to serve as a growth opportunity for the direct procurement solutions market." The representative added, "The enterprise software sector in which Emro operates is not directly affected by tariff policies. We will use current market conditions as a springboard to accelerate our growth in the global market this year."
