Sign Agreement for Regional Development and Talent Cultivation
Pukyong National University (President Sanghoon Bae) and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Seokjun Kim) signed a mutual cooperation agreement on the morning of the 18th in the second-floor conference room of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education for balanced regional development and the cultivation of future talent.

With this agreement, the two institutions have decided to share human and material resources and infrastructure, and to build a close cooperative system that goes beyond the boundaries between the university and the local community to support lifelong education for Busan citizens.
Pukyong National University and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education have already cooperated in various ways on projects and policies such as after-school programs and Neulbom School operations, and with this agreement, they plan to further expand their collaboration.
The areas of cooperation between the two institutions include: mutual exchange and cooperation of human and material resources; mutual support for various collaborative projects for regional community development; educational and research support and joint curriculum development for the cultivation of future talent and professionals; and exchange of industry-academia information and cooperation in hosting academic conferences to broaden the base of local industries.
In particular, ahead of the Glocal University 30 project application, Pukyong National University has been discussing educational policies with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education since January to establish a future-oriented educational model for Busan City.
Based on this agreement, Pukyong National University plans to submit a proposal for the Glocal University 30 project, aiming to expand its role as a national university contributing to local education by providing customized programs and educational content for students and citizens.
