Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience mostly clear weather over the weekend, although rain is forecasted from Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

On Saturday, April 19, the weather will remain clear through the morning, but clouds will gradually increase in the afternoon, bringing 5 to 10 millimeters of rain starting at night. Morning lows will range from 12 to 16 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius, which is warmer than the seasonal average.

The rain will continue into the early morning of Sunday, April 20, but skies are expected to clear from the morning onward. Morning lows are forecasted to be between 11 and 16 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 18 to 26 degrees Celsius. While it may feel somewhat cool in the morning, relatively warm spring weather is expected during the day.

An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Visibility may be reduced and roads could become slippery while it rains. Drivers and pedestrians should pay extra attention to safety, and special caution is also advised at sea due to fog, gusty winds, and the risk of accidents caused by thunder and lightning."
