According to the county on April 18, the "Golden Scholarship Quiz" is a format that combines the popular quiz programs "Golden Bell" and "Scholarship Quiz." The program is designed to spark students' interest and encourage voluntary participation.
In particular, the program focuses on delivering accurate health information to students in their growth period, such as the addictive substances in cigarettes, the dangers of secondhand smoke, and the harmful effects of alcohol, in an easy and engaging way.
A county official stated, "Effectively preventing the initiation of smoking during adolescence is key to lowering the overall smoking rate," adding, "Preventive education is essential to stop young people from becoming lifelong smokers."
Meanwhile, the public health center plans to conduct a variety of activities to enhance the effectiveness of smoking prevention, including hair nicotine tests and morning campaigns on the way to school.
