This exam is open to those who qualify as severely disabled under the "Act on the Promotion of Employment and Vocational Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons." Depending on the job series, applicants may need to meet eligibility requirements and have relevant work experience in the field.

Lee Dong-ryul, Director of the Seoul Metropolitan Government Administration Bureau, said, "The city continues to expand opportunities for public service entry for socially disadvantaged groups including persons with disabilities and strives to realize practical social equity. Even after appointment, we will do our best to ensure that disabled public officials can work stably and fully demonstrate their capabilities through customized support such as assistive technology devices and work assistants."
