Changes in Bottle Shape and Cap Material
Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 18th that its distilled soju 'Yeoul' will undergo a package redesign.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage maintained the bottle design featuring a wave pattern symbolizing the moon's reflection on Yeoul water and the flowing Yeoul stream, while changing the material of the bottle cap and applying a design representing Yeoul water on the top. Additionally, the height of the bottle cap was increased to improve opening convenience, a cap seal was applied to add luxury and stability, and the product label color was changed from white to black to enhance label visibility and intuitively express the evening and night, ideal times to enjoy Yeoul.
The bottle shape was also adjusted by modifying the angle of the bottle shoulder to increase visual stability, widening the bottle and reducing its height to improve the grip feel when holding the bottle, and increasing the bottle's weight to add a sense of heft.
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage representative stated, "Yeoul is a premium distilled soju introduced by Lotte Chilsung Beverage, which has over 80 years of brewing technology, under the concept of 'a fragrant aftertaste flowing in the mouth.' We released a new advertising campaign featuring singer Jang Kiha and science creator Gwedo on our YouTube channel on the 11th, and we plan to actively market at consumer touchpoints such as expanding store entry and shelf display rates."
