Honam University Career Plus Center announced on the 17th that it held an appointment ceremony and competency enhancement training for the '2025 Employment Dedicated' (Brand Up Manager, hereafter BUM) professors, aimed at guiding current students and graduates in their career paths and employment, as well as increasing the employment rate.
The 35 BUM professors appointed on the 16th will serve a one-year term until February next year, working in conjunction with the Career Plus Center to manage graduate employment, provide career and employment guidance for current students, suggest directions for extracurricular programs, and manage updates to department-specific career roadmaps. They will also actively provide customized employment counseling and programs for students preparing for employment.
In particular, they will promote and guide the new '2025 Graduate Specialized Program' and 'Customized Employment Service Project for Current Students,' both supervised by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, to encourage the participation of many graduates and current students.
A representative from the Career Plus Center stated, "We plan to actively cooperate so that BUM professors, current students, and graduates can prepare for employment."
