The Korea Management Registration Institute (KMR), in collaboration with the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC), is officially launching the operation of the '2025 Smart Factory Long-term Advanced Course for Employees.' This training program is a long-term advanced course focused on developing practical skills that employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who have already implemented smart factories can immediately apply in the field.
KMR conducts the training across six regions nationwide using the Smart Factory Learning Center infrastructure established by SBC. The program includes not only theoretical classes but also project-based learning that addresses real on-site problems. Notably, this year the project duration has been extended to four months, and the number of expert dispatches has increased to eight times, significantly enhancing the program’s engagement and effectiveness.
This course has been restructured from an individual application system to a team-based application system, with a total of 62 teams expected to be selected. Among the teams that complete the training, those with outstanding performance will be given the opportunity to directly benchmark overseas digital transformation (DX) best practices.
A KMR official emphasized, "This training focuses on nurturing talent capable of solving actual problems in the corporate field beyond simple theoretical acquisition," adding, "It will serve as a practical opportunity to enhance the digital transformation capabilities of SMEs."
Applications for the training can be submitted through the official website of the Small and Medium Business Training Institute, and more detailed information is also available online.
