Intellectual Discovery (hereinafter 'ID'), a subsidiary of Xperix, announced on the 17th that it has signed an AI patent solution partnership with Silicon Valley AI company One Transform, Inc. (hereinafter 'OTI'). Through this alliance, ID will be the sole supplier of OTI's AI patent analysis solutions in the domestic market, which is regarded as a signal to fully launch Xperix's global AI IP strategy.
Dr. Pouya Taaghol, CEO of OTI, stated, "This is the world's first collaboration model between a global IP specialist company and a Silicon Valley AI company," adding, "We are pleased to provide cutting-edge patent solutions to Korean companies through ID."
In fact, OTI's AI solution utilizes generative AI and predictive analytics technology to quickly identify patent infringement risks, evaluate licensing possibilities, and acquisition targets, helping companies convert their IP portfolios into revenue-generating assets in a short period. Accordingly, practical applications such as patent analysis, invalidity search, and EOU discovery are also enhanced, and it is expected to make a substantial contribution to the revaluation and monetization strategies of domestic companies' IP assets.
Yoon Sang-chul, CEO of Xperix, said, "As policy drives for the AI industry accelerate, the strategic collaboration among OTI, FuriosaAI, and ID is a key asset for securing future growth engines," adding, "We will continuously strengthen the foundation of global competitiveness through AI IP, advanced infrastructure, and semiconductor-centered technology convergence."
Through this partnership, ID and OTI plan to expand technical support and strategic consulting for domestic companies pursuing IP-based business innovation, providing practical solutions to companies aiming to transform intellectual property from a mere cost into a revenue-generating asset.
Meanwhile, ID is a major partner that has continuously participated in investments from Series A to Series C, starting with initial IP consulting for FuriosaAI, and its subsidiary Silicon Arts Technology has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against NVIDIA. This is expected to play an important role in the domestic AI technology ecosystem and IP strategy, aligning with the K-NVIDIA development policy, which has emerged as a key national agenda for the next government.
