"Enhancing Audit Capabilities" ... NongHyup Gyeongnam Inspection Bureau Holds 'Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative Audit Conference'

The Gyeongnam Inspection Office of NongHyup held a conference on the 16th at the Namchangwon NongHyup Distribution Center, attended by about 130 audit staff from local agricultural and livestock cooperatives, to strengthen their audit capabilities.

During this conference, participants shared information on internal controls to foster consensus on accident prevention through mutual communication among cooperative employees, spread a sound organizational and integrity culture, and conducted group discussions aimed at eradicating accidents within agricultural and livestock cooperatives.

Kim Dohyeong, Director of the Gyeongnam Inspection Office, stated, "Strict and fair audits are necessary to protect the assets of our members and customers and to earn the trust of farmers and the public," and added, "I hope that audit officers at agricultural and livestock cooperatives will strive to contribute to the realization of a new NongHyup in Korea through change and innovation in audit practices."
