Recruiting Entries for the 'Digital Future Innovation Award', Seeking Leaders of Digital Innovation

The Ministry of Science and ICT is hosting, and the Korea Software Industry Association is organizing, the call for entries for the "9th Korea Digital Future Innovation Awards," which has officially begun. This contest aims to discover exemplary cases that have revolutionized the structure of society and industry through digital technology, with this year's theme being "Innovation Beyond Boundaries."


The competition covers a wide range of fields. It includes digital industry sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, big data, cybersecurity, semiconductors, quantum technology, robotics, smart mobility, aerospace, digital healthcare, metaverse, as well as ESG, smart cities, fintech and commerce, edutech, marketing tech, climate tech, and carbon neutrality.


The awards include three Grand Prizes presented by the Minister of Science and ICT, three Special Awards from the Seoul Mayor, and for the first time this year, one award from the President of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). Other awards include those from the Presidents of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), the National Information Society Agency (NIA), the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), the Korea Communications Agency (KCA), the Korea Data Agency (K-DATA), the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI), the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, and the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA).


Applications are open until Thursday, June 27, 2025, and submissions can be made through the Korea Software Industry Association website under the "Notices" section, where detailed guidance is provided.


The awards ceremony will be held on September 30 at COEX in Seoul during the "Digital Innovation Festa (DINNO 2025)." DINNO is a comprehensive technology festival that showcases Korea’s digital and AI technology industries, featuring exhibitions, seminars, policy conferences, and public experiential events. It is the largest event of its kind in the country, presenting the present and future of digital new technologies that will lead Korea over three days.


Under this year’s theme, "AI everything AI everywhere," the "Digital Innovation Festa (DINNO 2025)" will feature new technology presentations from domestic and international digital innovation companies, as well as diverse cooperation models between the government and private sectors. It is expected to provide participating companies with new opportunities for practical business connections and technology exchange.


The "9th Korea Digital Future Innovation Awards," which will play a crucial role in discovering and spreading innovative technologies and talents leading the digital transformation era, is anticipated to attract participation from many companies.
