Korean Air Hosts New Employees from Japanese Travel Agency JTB at Headquarters Event

Event Inviting New JTB Employees Held on the 15th

Korean Air announced on the 16th that it held a tour event on the 15th, inviting new employees from JTB, a major Japanese travel agency, to introduce Korean Air's headquarters and key facilities in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

Now in its second year, this tour event was organized to enhance understanding of the airline industry by allowing travel industry workers, who usually have limited access, to visit airline facilities, while also strengthening the relationship between the two companies.

Notably, this year the event scale was more than doubled compared to last year. The participants toured Korean Air's main facilities, including the Operations & Customer Center (OCC), which was remodeled last year with the latest equipment, as well as the hangar, cabin training center, and flight training center. At the flight training center, they were also given the opportunity to experience the Flight Training Device (FTD), a flight simulator training facility.

Choi Jeong-ho, Executive Vice President of Sales at Korean Air, said, "I hope this visit to Korean Air’s headquarters was a meaningful experience that enhanced understanding of the airline industry. Going forward, Korean Air will continue to maintain a strong cooperative relationship with JTB and do its best to have a positive impact on the travel industry as a whole."
