Expansion of Support for Wildfire-Affected Areas
SK Magic announced on the 16th that it has delivered 100 air purifiers to Green Umbrella to support students in the Sancheong area of Gyeongnam who are struggling due to wildfire damage.
This donation follows SK Magic’s emergency support of air purifiers to evacuation shelters for disaster victims in the Yeongnam region and is an additional measure to protect the health of students facing difficulties in basic learning and daily life due to severely deteriorated air quality caused by the wildfires, as well as to improve their academic environment.
The air purifiers were delivered to a total of five elementary, middle, and high schools, including Deoksan Elementary School, through the Sancheong Office of Education. Through this support, it is expected that students affected by the wildfires will be able to focus on their studies in a more comfortable and safe environment, and that it will also provide practical help in improving the learning environment within schools.
On the 3rd, SK Magic also took prompt action by providing free replacement of air purifier filters, free repair and replacement of products damaged by fire, and emergency support of 100 air purifiers to evacuation shelters for residents affected by the wildfires in the Yeongnam region.
An SK Magic official said, "We will spare no effort to provide various support so that residents and students affected by the wildfires can return to a stable daily life as soon as possible," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility through ongoing social contribution activities."
