Dongwon Group announced on the 16th that its honorary chairman and founder, Kim Jae-cheol, has published a management essay titled "How to Overcome the Waves of Life."

Honorary Chairman Kim Jae-cheol, part of the first generation of industrialization who decided to start a business in 1969, began as a deep-sea fishing vessel trainee navigator and built today’s Dongwon Group and Korea Investment Holdings. This management essay includes stories from Kim Jae-cheol’s childhood, crises he faced during business management, and business strategies that brought success.

As a respected elder of this era, founder Kim Jae-cheol wrote the book as if giving advice to young people. The subtitle of the book is "To You Who Are Facing Challenges and Adventures." Having passed his nineties, Kim Jae-cheol hoped that this book would not simply be a self-help book listing achievements or forcing success. He urges young people to embrace "heart-pounding challenges."
