The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 15th that Hyundai Department Store (CEO Jung Ji-young) donated a total of approximately 190 million KRW to help victims affected by the wildfires.
This donation was raised through a fundraising campaign voluntarily participated in by customers of 'H.Point,' Hyundai Department Store Group's integrated membership service, combined with Hyundai Department Store's matching grant. Notably, 100 million KRW was collected in just one day, adding a warm sense of solidarity shared by over 23,000 customers.
Park Geun-ho, Executive Director in charge of Membership Operations at Hyundai Department Store, said, "We deeply thank the customers who willingly came together to support neighbors in need," and added, "H.Point will continue to participate in solidarity and support with neighbors during disasters and other crisis situations."
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, expressed, "We are deeply grateful for the warm hearts of Hyundai Department Store and its customers," and stated, "Hope Bridge will do its best to help the affected residents return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
