On the 16th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly clear, with occasional clouds expected from the afternoon.
According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving eastward over the southern seas of Jeju Island. Morning lows will range from 2 to 9 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 18 and 26 degrees Celsius.
Morning lows are expected to be 2 degrees in Boseong, 3 degrees in Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, and Jangheung, 4 degrees in Hwasun, Suncheon, Naju, and Jangseong, 5 degrees in Hampyeong, Yeongam, Gangjin, and Goheung, 6 degrees in Muan and Haenam, 7 degrees in Gwangju, Yeonggwang, and Gwangyang, 8 degrees in Jindo and Yeosu, and 9 degrees in Shinan and Wando.
Daytime highs will be 26 degrees in Gurye, 25 degrees in Gokseong, Hwasun, and Suncheon, 24 degrees in Gwangju, Jangseong, Damyang, Jangheung, and Gwangyang, 23 degrees in Yeongam, Boseong, and Gangjin, 22 degrees in Hampyeong, Haenam, Wando, and Goheung, 21 degrees in Muan, 20 degrees in Mokpo and Jindo, 19 degrees in Yeosu, and 18 degrees in Shinan, which is higher than the previous day.
Waves on the sea will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters high in the West Sea and 0.5 to 1 meter high in the South Sea. Both fine and ultrafine dust levels will remain 'moderate.'
An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "There may be sea fog in the West Sea, and especially in island areas, visibility may drop below 200 meters due to dense fog. Please be cautious to prevent maritime safety accidents."
