10th Anniversary Marks Its Establishment as a Leading Science Museum in the Southeastern Region

The National Busan Science Museum (Director Song Samjong) has been selected as an excellent institution, the highest rating, for five consecutive years in the "2024 Public Institution Customer Satisfaction Survey" organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The National Busan Science Museum announced on the 15th that it achieved an overall score of 93.7 in this year's survey, which is 7 points higher than the average score of 86.7 among all 110 other public institutions.

The customer satisfaction survey is conducted for 182 public institutions with the aim of implementing customer-centered services and improving service quality. It uses structured questionnaires through phone and on-site surveys. This year, 64 public institutions were selected as excellent institutions.

The National Busan Science Museum received consistently high scores in its main programs, including permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions, and educational programs.

It also stood out in areas such as service completeness, interaction, and communication. Its professional and systematic science exhibition content, future-oriented education, and friendly staff recommendation system contributed to positive evaluations for customer engagement efforts.

Song Samjong, Director of the National Busan Science Museum, stated, "We were able to achieve good results thanks to the high evaluation of our efforts to enhance the quality of science culture services," and added, "On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, we will continue to do our best as a central institution for spreading a science culture full of imagination and creativity."

To celebrate Science Day on April 21, the National Busan Science Museum will open its permanent exhibition hall free of charge through the "Star Light Science Museum" event on the 19th and 20th, and will extend the operating hours of the planetarium and observatory until 8:30 PM.
