Largest Shopping Festival of the First Half Held from 4th to 13th
Sales Up 14% Compared to Last Year's Landers Day
Shinsegae Group announced on the 14th that the largest shopping festival of the first half of the year, 'Landers Shopping Festa,' held from the 4th to the 13th, recorded an all-time high sales of approximately 1.3 trillion KRW.

This year's event sales grew by 14% compared to last year's 'Landers Day.' First, Emart, which held the event from the 4th to the 6th, saw sales increase by 6.1% year-on-year. The company explained that the 'Star Item TOP20' promotion, which offered popular products favored by customers at shock prices, was well received.
Specifically, all Korean beef products were discounted by up to 50%, resulting in a 15% increase in sales compared to the previous year. Eggs, led by half-priced 30-egg cartons, sold over 650,000 units, growing sales by 13%. Apple sales also surged by 71%. Additionally, Shinsegae Food's 9,900 KRW large-size 'Home Run Pizza' and 'Super Long Pizza Baguette' sold over 30,000 units at Emart.
Furthermore, Shinsegae Department Store's sales increased by 31%, Chosun Hotel & Resort by 81%, and Starbucks by 46% year-on-year. Emart24 sold all fresh food items at half price when paid with Samsung Monimo Pay from 6 PM to midnight and held a 1+1 promotion on over 150 products, resulting in a 58% sales increase during the first week (4th to 10th) compared to the previous week.
Shinsegae Duty Free Incheon Airport branch also held a night sale event offering 5,000 duty-free points starting at 8:30 PM, one hour before closing, boosting sales by more than 20% compared to the previous week.
W Concept attracted great attention with its '24-hour Brand Popup Sale,' with participating brand sales increasing by 38% year-on-year. SSG.com received strong responses by offering Shinsegae Department Store's spring new clothing and season-out outerwear at special prices through the SSG Live promotion. The 'Landersbuck Uniform,' launched through collaboration between Starbucks and SSG Landers, sold out online within five minutes of release, demonstrating synergy among group companies.
The AI model '18 Aliens,' which Shinsegae Group featured as the representative face of this Landers Shopping Festa, was also a hot topic, with over 100,000 people participating in the online popularity vote. Additionally, about 10,000 visitors attended the pet-friendly event 'Land Dog's Festa' held at Starfield Hanam, and more than 100,000 people gathered at Shinsegae Simon Paju Premium Outlets, which hosted the LEGO Global F1 (Formula One) Racing Project popup store, and at Yeoju Premium Outlets, which held a large-scale 'stock sale' during the event period.
A Shinsegae Group official said, "This Landers Shopping Festa was able to set another record by preparing definite shopping benefits and various enjoyable activities," adding, "We will continue to uphold the reputation of Korea's representative shopping festival along with SSG Day."
