Three Program Types Operated:
4-Week Short-Term, 16-Week Mid-Term,
and Korea-Japan University Student Training

Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) has been selected for the eighth consecutive year since 2018 as a participating university in the Busan and Gyeongnam region for the "2025 Blue Ladder Project," supported by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Student Aid Foundation.

Additionally, the university has been selected for the second consecutive year to operate the mid-term training program "Blue Ladder Type 2" and the "Korea-Japan University Student Training" project, both introduced in 2024, making it the only institution in the Busan and Gyeongnam region to run these programs.

The Blue Ladder Project is designed to provide overseas training experiences to university students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them explore career paths and develop themselves. The project aims to nurture key talents with a global perspective.

Dong-Eui University will select 60 students for Type 1 (a four-week short-term overseas training), provide pre-training such as career planning in Korea, and dispatch students to Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines for four weeks during the summer vacation. The program includes language education and career experience activities such as company visits.

For Type 2, a mid-term training program lasting 16 weeks or longer, and the Korea-Japan University Student Training, students will receive language, cultural, and employment-related education for two months at universities in the Philippines and Japan, followed by a two-month internship at local companies.

In particular, Dong-Eui University, as a participating university in the Busan and Gyeongnam region, will select not only its own students but also students from other local universities for Type 1. The university will also provide career development and employment support after the overseas training through the Dong-Eui University Career Plus Center.

Lee Cheolgyun, Dean of Student Affairs at Dong-Eui University, said, "As this is a great opportunity for students wishing to advance onto the global stage through language study, cultural experiences, and company visits abroad, we expect many students to participate. We will do our utmost to ensure a fulfilling and safe overseas training experience."
