"Looking Back, There Were Moments That Were Not Admirable" ... Candid Confession
"Even If We're Not Cool, Let's Live Our Own Lives"
Actress Han So-hee (32) attracted attention by posting a message that seemed to reflect on past personal life controversies and express her feelings.
On the 11th, Han So-hee wrote a lengthy post on her blog, stating, "Since the past shapes the present, I often look back myself. When I think about it, there were moments that were not admirable, and most of the things I was sure were right were not." She added, "I try not to be obsessed with that."
She continued, "I always strive to move in a better direction, but like the saying 'A sparrow trying to follow a stork ends up tearing its thighs,' these days I try to spend my days according to my limits and capabilities."
She said, "I cannot insist on being the best and doing my best every time," and added, "Although I have laid out fancy words, what I have been trying to say all along seems to be 'Let's live our lives even if we're not that cool.'"
Han So-hee tagged the post with hashtags such as 'Pretending to have lived life fully,' 'Moved by myself,' and 'Trying to teach when my own nose is three feet long.' She also attached a photo of a notice on a broken ATM machine that read, "We apologize for the inconvenience. We will fix our bad manners as soon as possible."
This is interpreted as her stance on the personal life controversies surrounding her. Han So-hee revealed her relationship with actor Ryu Jun-yeol in March last year, but broke up two weeks later amid so-called 'transfer dating' suspicions related to singer and actress Hyeri, who was Ryu Jun-yeol’s ex-girlfriend.
At that time, when Hyeri, who had been publicly dating Ryu Jun-yeol since 2017, posted "Interesting" on social media, Han So-hee responded with "I find it interesting too," which escalated the controversy.
Meanwhile, Han So-hee said, "My blog is a truly warm communication channel for me," and promised, "Although I cannot come often, after finishing filming a movie and taking a vacation, I will try to communicate with you all as often as possible."
She also urged her fans, saying, "What I feel as I get older is that health is the most important," and added, "Let's not get sick and meet again."
