"Obvious Possibility of Interference in the Presidential Election"
Former President Yoon Seok-yeol is greeting supporters as he leaves the Hannam-dong residence on the 11th. The Democratic Party of Korea continued its criticism on the 12th, saying, "We are appalled by the consistent display of 'true nature'."
The Democratic Party of Korea continued its criticism for the second day on the 12th, condemning former President Yoon Seok-yeol for greeting his supporters as he left the residence the day before, saying, "I am appalled by the consistent 'troublemaker' behavior."
Chief Spokesperson Cho Seung-rae stated in a briefing that day, "By blocking the Hannam-dong area during rush hour and holding a parade, he reenacted the arrogance, lack of communication, and arrogance of the past three years," and criticized, "I am appalled by the consistent 'troublemaker' behavior."
He added, "It is outrageous that the scene of him embracing young supporters who were pre-arranged and crying was artificially staged," pointing out, "This shameless behavior of a rebel leader mocking the people until the very end."
Cho also emphasized, "Yoon Seok-yeol's departure show was a cheap production intended to mock the Constitutional Court's dismissal decision," and said, "Yoon, who was driven out by the people, acted as if he were a departing president who successfully completed his term."
He further criticized, "It is obvious that Yoon will try to interfere in the presidential election even after returning to his private residence," and said, "It is pathetic that the People Power Party is playing along while the rebel leader roams the streets acting as a shadow king."
He said, "I deeply feel that the rebellion has not yet ended," and warned, "The weight of judgment to befall rebel leader Yoon Seok-yeol and his accomplices is growing heavier day by day."
Chief Spokesperson Cho Seung-rae also pointed out the previous day, "Yoon Seok-yeol, who was dismissed by the people, the National Assembly, and the Constitution, did not offer a single word of apology or reflection until the end," and said, "One might think he is a president who is honorably completing his term and retiring." He continued, "What Yoon should do now is to reflect, repent, and humbly await the judgment of the law."
Former President Yoon left the Hannam-dong residence in the afternoon of the previous day and moved to his private residence in Seocho-dong. His departure from the residence came seven days after the Constitutional Court's dismissal decision and 886 days after moving from the Seocho-dong residence to the residence on November 7, 2022. According to the police, an unofficial estimate of 1,500 people gathered in the Hannam-dong area.
