This survey aims to assess citizens' perceptions of quality of life and social issues, and will be used as basic data for administrative purposes such as balanced regional development and welfare policy formulation. The survey was first launched in 1997 and is being conducted for the 29th time this year.

The survey will be carried out simultaneously in 18 cities and counties within North Gyeongsang Province. It consists of 50 questions: 42 questions across 11 common categories such as household, family, education, welfare, health, and environment, as well as 8 additional questions reflecting Sangju City's characteristics, including job creation and senior welfare enhancement.

On the 10th, the city completed training on survey procedures and guidelines for the 21 surveyors who will be conducting fieldwork. To ensure the survey is conducted accurately and reliably, the city plans to review and supplement the content until June 27, and finalize and announce the results in November.

Sangju City Mayor Kang Youngseok stated, "Survey responses will be strictly protected in accordance with the Statistics Act," and added, "The active participation of citizens will greatly contribute to the future policy-making of Sangju City, so we ask everyone to respond sincerely to the survey."
