Companies are coming together to address the structural challenges facing South Korea, such as tariff storms and innovation delays.
The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) announced that on the 12th at 10:25 PM, a documentary titled "The Path to Future Society, Mega Sandbox" will be broadcast on a television network. The documentary will explore the structural challenges of our economy and society on-site and introduce the efforts and concerns of companies striving to solve these issues. In particular, KCCI explained that Chairman Chey Tae-won will personally participate in a roundtable discussion with startup CEOs to share entrepreneurs' solutions.
The 48-minute documentary features scenes of regions facing extinction threats, voices of local companies struggling amid labor shortages and regulations, a roundtable discussion seeking ways to resolve various challenges, and future innovation cases from Japan and Singapore. In addition to Chairman Chey, the roundtable includes Son Bo-mi, CEO of Starseed; Lee Je-hyung, CEO of Stratio, founded in Silicon Valley; and Ma Kang-rae, professor at Chung-Ang University.
The documentary was filmed across the country in Busan, Daegu, Naju, Pangyo, and Singapore, capturing the voices of dozens of businesspeople, university students, office workers, and experts. The narration is provided by broadcaster Oh Sang-jin, who appeared on "Different Class" and "My Love from the Star."
