LG Chem will set up a 400㎡ (121-pyeong) booth, the largest among domestic companies. About 60 types of products will be exhibited here, and 10 dedicated meeting rooms and business lounges will be operated. LG Chem plans to showcase next-generation eco-friendly technologies and premium strategic products. Exhibits include chemical recycling technology using 'supercritical thermal decomposition,' which utilizes high-temperature and high-pressure steam, and hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO), a type of bio-oil.

Under the theme "Enhancing Value through the Power of Chemistry," LG Chem has organized a total of six exhibition zones. The zones?▲Sustainability Hub ▲Packaging ▲Mobility ▲Energy ▲Living ▲Medical?will each showcase recycling technologies and more. In particular, in the Packaging zone, packaging films applying 'Unicable' material developed with LG Chem's proprietary technology will be exhibited. Unicable maintains the same durability as conventional composite materials while being made from a single PE (polyethylene) material, thereby increasing recyclability.

In the Energy zone, high value-added products such as ultra-high molecular weight PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for electric vehicle charging cables will be displayed. Through this, LG Chem aims to target the global market, including electric vehicle charging companies. In the Living zone, high-performance eco-friendly artificial leather applied with low-gloss and matte ABS (high value-added synthetic resin) and ultra-high molecular weight PVC, used for premium home appliance interior and exterior materials, will be exhibited. The ultra-high molecular weight PVC and matte ABS products were selected as the 'Innovative Products of the Year' awarded by CHINAPLAS this year.

Kim Sang-min, Head of LG Chem’s Petrochemical Business Division, said, "We will provide differentiated customer experiences so that the advancement of eco-friendly technologies and premium products can lead to tangible sales growth."
