Jin Air will launch a new route between Busan and Ulaanbaatar on the 22nd of next month.
According to Jin Air on the 9th, the Busan-Ulaanbaatar route will operate three times a week (Monday, Thursday, and Sunday) with an aircraft seating 189 passengers. Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, means "Red Hero" and is a city where modern buildings coexist with traditional nomadic culture. Visitors can experience both the city and the steppes, enjoy stargazing at night in a traditional ger, and try camel riding across the grasslands.
Busan-Ulaanbaatar tickets can be purchased through the website, mobile web page, and application (app). A free checked baggage allowance of 15 kg is provided as standard. A Jin Air representative said, "We hope this will be a special trip to enjoy the blue steppes and star-filled night sky while experiencing Mongolia's unique culture and nature."
Meanwhile, Jin Air resumed operations on the Busan to Nagoya and Fukuoka routes in Japan with a summer schedule starting from the 30th of last month, operating seven times a week. The Busan-Nagoya route departs Gimhae Airport at 8:40 AM, and the Busan-Fukuoka route departs at 9:00 AM. The Busan-Narita and Osaka routes operate two flights daily.
