According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will be affected by a trough moving from the West Sea to the East Sea, but this influence will gradually diminish.
Morning lows will be 10 degrees Celsius in Sinan, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, Jindo, Haenam, Boseong, and Goheung; 11 degrees in Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Hwasun, Naju, Yeongam, Mokpo, and Jangheung; 12 degrees in Suncheon, Gwangyang, Yeosu, Gangjin, and Wando; and 13 degrees in Gwangju.
Daytime highs will be 22 degrees in Suncheon and Goheung; 21 degrees in Hwasun, Boseong, Gurye, and Gwangyang; 20 degrees in Gwangju, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, Gangjin, and Wando; 19 degrees in Haenam; 18 degrees in Hampyeong and Yeosu; 17 degrees in Yeonggwang and Muan; 16 degrees in Jindo; 15 degrees in Mokpo; and 14 degrees in Sinan, all lower than the previous day.
Waves on the sea will be about 0.5 meters in the West Sea and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea. Both fine and ultrafine dust levels are expected to remain at 'normal' levels.
A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official said, "Visibility will be reduced and roads may be slippery in areas where it rains, so we advise drivers to secure a sufficient safety distance and reduce speed for safe driving."
