The purpose is to create an environment where pregnant women, passengers accompanied by infants and young children, and elderly people can use the airport safely and conveniently.
Through the agreement, both organizations agreed to cooperate on preferential treatment for pregnant women and families with multiple children when using the airport, discovering joint tasks to respond to low birth rates, creating child-rearing friendly conditions such as work-family balance, and social contribution activities supporting childbirth and childcare.
Since the end of last year, the Corporation has been implementing the "Mom Comfortable Airport Service," which offers a 50% discount on parking fees for families with two or more children under the age of 18 and provides priority security screening services for companions with infants under 24 months (up to 6 people).
In the second half of this year, the Corporation plans to operate parking zones that consider families accompanied by children under 7 years old and elderly people with mobility difficulties, and introduce a new service that offers a 50% discount on parking fees for pregnant women.
Lee Jeong-gi, Acting President of the Corporation, said, "The Corporation will continue to work closely with the Low Fertility and Aging Society Committee to create a family-friendly airport environment."
