Gyeonggi Fire Service Academy was selected as the best institution among local fire academies nationwide in this year's fire education and training institution evaluation.
From February 13 to March 27, Gyeonggi Fire Service Academy received high praise in the evaluation conducted by the National Fire Agency, Central Fire Service Academy, and the Education and Training Institution Evaluation Committee for overcoming limitations such as physical distance and training costs through the "International Cooperation Course for the Global Expansion of Disaster Safety Education," thereby accelerating the international standardization of domestic fire education.
Jung Byung-do, head of Gyeonggi Fire Service Academy, stated, "This selection as the best institution is a result created by all staff together," adding, "We will continue to develop innovative curricula to cultivate fire professionals strong in the field and expand global cooperation continuously."
Meanwhile, this evaluation was conducted through a combination of quantitative and qualitative assessments and on-site inspections, targeting areas such as ▲education operation system ▲instructor and professor capabilities ▲improvement efforts ▲safety management.
