Air Busan was the first domestic airline to operate a regular flight on this route in April 2015. Since then, until March of this year, it has operated approximately 6,000 flights, transporting around 990,000 passengers. The service started with a twice-weekly schedule, then expanded to seven times a week (once daily) in the same year, nine times a week in 2017, and 14 times a week (twice daily) in 2019.

Since its launch, the average load factor has been in the low 80% range until last year, and this year it has recorded a high load factor in the mid-90% range. The passenger share is also about 30%, the highest among operating airlines. Da Nang, along with Nha Trang, is a representative resort destination in Vietnam.

An Air Busan official said, "Before Air Busan started service, only foreign airlines operated irregular flights to Da Nang, so the route had relatively low recognition within the region. It is very meaningful that Air Busan’s new service has led to the route’s revitalization to the current level."

Meanwhile, based on this year’s summer schedule, Air Busan operates the Busan~Da Nang route once daily. The Nha Trang route operates once daily from Busan and four times weekly (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) from Incheon.
