Benefits Provided Once a Month... Sales Expected to Increase
Shopping Support Funds Offered Based on Purchase Amount
Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 9th that it is partnering with Naver's paid subscription service, 'Naver Plus Membership,' to attract new domestic customers.
This partnership aims to increase new member inflow and sales through collaboration with a leading domestic internet platform. Naver Plus Membership members can receive immediate benefits by simply verifying their passport at the Shinsegae Duty Free information desk and scanning the membership pass QR code.
The main benefits include being granted the 'BLACK' tier, 5,000 won in duty-free points, and shopping support funds based on purchase amounts. The shopping support funds start at 7,000 won for purchases of 50 dollars, increasing to 20,000 won for 150 dollars, 40,000 won for 300 dollars, 70,000 won for 500 dollars, and up to 100,000 won for purchases over 800 dollars. All benefits can be issued once a month simply by scanning the membership pass QR code and can be used until the end of the issuance month.
Shinsegae Duty Free is conducting both online and offline promotions for this partnership under the theme 'The Beginning of an Exciting Journey.' A benefits introduction page has been set up on the online mall, and active guidance is provided on-site through the media facade at the Myeongdong branch and digital signage at Incheon Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
On Naver channels, members can easily check their membership pass through the 'Membership MY' section within the Naver app or the 'My Shopping' page in the 'Naver Plus Store' app. Any membership holder can conveniently use offline benefits through the membership pass.
A Shinsegae Duty Free representative stated, “Customers will greatly benefit from the convenience of shopping by scanning the membership pass QR code and using benefits immediately on the same day,” adding, “We will continue to expand collaborations with various platforms to provide differentiated customer experiences.”
