KB Kookmin Bank Donates 200 Million Won to Korean Red Cross... KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 8th that it donated 200 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross as a Red Cross membership fee.


The handover ceremony held at the Korean Red Cross Seoul Office located in Namsan-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by Kim Cheol-su, Chairman of the Korean Red Cross, Lee Hwan-joo, President of KB Kookmin Bank, and officials from both organizations.


This donation will be used for various humanitarian public interest projects such as ▲emergency relief activities for domestic and international disasters and calamities ▲support for vulnerable groups struggling to maintain their livelihoods ▲dissemination of health and safety knowledge, providing practical help to neighbors in need around us.


KB Kookmin Bank has been donating to the Korean Red Cross annually for 19 years since 2007. The cumulative donation amount, including the 200 million KRW given this time, reaches a total of 4.6 billion KRW. Additionally, as part of the 'KB Hope Sharing Project,' KB Kookmin Bank has been continuously conducting various support activities for vulnerable groups together with the Korean Red Cross through employee volunteer participation.


A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We hope this donation will serve as an opportunity to bring hope to neighbors facing difficulties in welfare blind spots," and added, "KB Kookmin Bank will continue to do its best to spread a culture of coexistence with neighbors and faithfully fulfill its corporate social responsibility."
