Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation Donates 14.43 Million Won in Relief Funds for Gyeongsang Region Wildfire Damage on the 8th

The Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation recently donated 14.43 million won to the Korean Red Cross on the 8th to support the recovery and aid for disaster victims in areas affected by large-scale wildfires in Uiseong, Sancheong, and Uljin in Gyeongbuk.


This donation was voluntarily raised by the executives and employees to participate in overcoming national disasters and to fulfill the social responsibility and value of coexistence as a public institution.

In addition to this donation, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will also actively engage in practical volunteer work such as recovery efforts at the disaster sites.


Si Seok-jung, Chairman of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, "I hope this small gesture can bring hope to neighbors who have lost their homes in unexpected disasters," and added, "I hope this donation, prepared with the collective will of our executives and employees, will help with actual recovery and regional reconstruction."


Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has donated funds whenever major disasters occurred, such as the 2019 Gangwon Province wildfires and the 2022 East Coast wildfires.
