International Bidding Expert Network 'APMP' Launches Korean Chapter

The international bidding and proposal expert network APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) has officially launched its Korean chapter, 'APMP Korea.' According to industry sources on the 8th, the APMP headquarters board unanimously approved the launch of APMP Korea on the 27th of last month. It is expected to strengthen the global competitiveness of Korea's bidding ecosystem and serve as a foothold for international cooperation with the United States, Japan, Europe, and others.

APMP is an international association that provides practical training and internationally recognized certification in proposal strategy, Request for Proposal (RFP) analysis, proposal writing, and more. Founded in 1989 in Washington D.C., USA, it currently has over 14,100 members across 79 countries. APMP Korea supports domestic practitioners in accessing international bidding trends, education, and networks. It offers valuable resources for bidding practitioners, sales representatives for individual and corporate clients, and professionals preparing for startup entrepreneurship and career transitions. Specialized companies from various fields, including ClienT, Korea Management Association, and Awesome School, participate as operators.

The head of APMP Korea is Kim Jun-yeon, Chief Business Development Officer at ClienT. ClienT is a Korean artificial intelligence (AI) startup that collaborated through the 'Global Corporate Collaboration Program' promoted by OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, in partnership with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2023.

The launch ceremony will be held offline on the 16th, with Jim Carly, a procurement expert from APMP UK, visiting Korea to conduct a session. APMP Korea plans to hold more than four community events annually, provide APMP headquarters' educational materials and global case studies tailored to the Korean market, and directly conduct international certified training, qualification exams, and certification issuance in Korea.
